Central High School Security Resource Officer Carolyn Gudger
A friend of mine found and posted this story on his Facebook page. Hat tip to TN Smart Girl, who looks to be the nice lady to let us all know about this object lesson. The short version: Carolyn Gudger, a brave lady working security at a Tennessee high school, saved a whole lot of youngsters – by using her firearm – in 2010 when a man came to the school looking to shoot people.
UPDATE: Adam Baldwin, actor, thinker and self-described “American Individual,” found the video below of an interview with Carolyn Gudger. Mr. Baldwin, for those who may not know, played one of my all-time favorite characters, Jayne, on the awesome television show “Firefly.” Following him on Twitter is definitely recommended.
