One way America can respond to NSA/PRISM assaults on liberty

As many know and hopefully more and more will come to know, the NSA is and has been monitoring the phone conversations of all Americans.  This program apparently extends beyond phone calls to email, web surfing, facebook posts and more.

Some will attempt to justify this and may make what appear to be compelling arguments.

For my part, I hew to what Benjamin Franklin warned me about a couple hundred years before I was even born: “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

With that in mind, I propose all Americans begin a mass protest by doing the following; in every phone call that is deemed appropriate (e.g., if you are talking to a prospective employer or client, you may want to refrain), utter words we know will raise red flags at the NSA – jihad, bomb, allah, struggle, imam, etc.  This should be done in every email as well – just create a signature line with some of these words.  As I understand it, it is this sort of thing that government snoops look/listen for (among others I am sure).

My hope would be to blow up the servers if possible, or at least make the exercise worthless to them and force the government to take an approach that does not make a mockery of our Constitution and our essential liberties.

Who’s with me? (*warning, language*)
